Seems harmless, but what do I know?

Okay then, I think I’ve managed to understand what’s going on around these here parts of blog world. It’s madness, I’m starting my blog at 6.55am because I can’t sleep. Why can’t I just be normal and watch crappy television like everyone else would or why can’t I just go back to sleep?!

Think I should start writing some stuff about university, you know this whole up in the air “what is Authorship?”. Well we’re nearing the end of three solid weeks into this project and I think the general consensus from the year group is, why does this relate to that again, why are we doing this, why is this going to help me with my project. Sure, making your own calculator in php is a really cool thing, but why do we need that on our website? Am I totally missing the point and need to look deeper into the principle of making a calculator to use on our website, it really needs to be clearer for us simple minded people (I may just be talking about myself, you know not to offend anyone or anything).

One good thing is that I have an idea! Ta da! A little fan fare if you will, please. Now, I’m going to write this idea down on here so that means I own it and that it is documented as my idea, and if you so wish to gain knowledge of my idea then so be it, but i will have to kill you; so read on at your own will…

…*by the way, are blogs supposed to be written to an audience or like a diary?….just wondered*….

…You wanted to read on didn’t you, “you naughty little monkey” (yes, i did watch Madagascar recently and yes simple minded like I told you) oh crap am I supposed to use the Harvard Referencing System for that quote? :S Anyway to the matter in hand (god, I talk a lot of rubbish…you asked for it PDP guys, you know who you are. *evil grin*).

Diary Style

Friday 20th October 2006, Week 2

Dear diary,

I went to university today, it was good. I thought of an idea in my seminar after foolishly choosing to be Student Rep. That was foolish. So i decided to base my project on being a Student Rep. That was clever. I did good. So instead of talking to people, I can get them to input their ideas about how wonderful or not this course is onto my website. It’s going to be so pretty. I’ll have virtual postcards that people can design or choose to send their ideas on and upload their photo for a stamp like you would on a real postcard. I am a simple minded genius.

So, that it! Any ideas on how to make it? I can’t even get to grips with html, who knows how I passed last year? A real challenge. I just know the end product is going to be a web page with a php simulated calculator on it. After three weeks, that’s all I can do, quite shameful really.

Right that’s me done, hope that it is a satisfactory entry for my first ever blog,  e v e r!
